Piedmont Piano Company is proud to be one of the few authorized dealers for new Fazioli pianos in the US. Those who have attended our concert series or have played our new Faziolis know why many consider them to be the finest pianos in the world. With only about 120 pianos built each year in the factory in Sacile, Italy, used Faziolis are extremely rare - this is the first time we have ever offered one second hand. This piano, built in 1996, has been loved and cared for by its original owner, the internationally acclaimed conductor and concert pianist Jeffrey Kahane. Maestro Kahane's recent appointment to the faculty of the University of Southern California necessitated a move and the need for a smaller piano, so he exchanged his beloved concert grand for a smaller Fazioli F228. This instrument is in superb condition and rivals any concert instrument in the world for tone, touch, and responsiveness.
