Used, C. Bechstein, A 182

Family heirloom grand piano, carefully maintained and fully refurbished in 2003. It has been kept in a climate-controlled salon at a constant 21° C and was always covered when not in use; the case shows no scratches.

The instrument retains its original ebony and ivory keys sourced from Kenya, verified by C. Bechstein. Technical condition is excellent: hammers and strings have been continuously serviced by a technician with C. Bechstein experience.

Original German purchase records from 1922 are available. The cabinet/body was professionally restored in Kalisz, Poland. This A 182 is a rare find in such preserved state and will appeal to discerning players and collectors.

After relocating the piano to a new room and allowing it to acclimatize, professional tuning should be performed. To preserve historical integrity, the original decal on the soundboard and the plaque patina have been recommended to remain untouched.

Instrument available for immediate pickup in Murcia, Spain. I can put you in touch with my professional mover who specializes in transporting high-end instruments (Steinway, C. Bechstein, Bösendorfer) across Europe and the UK. Price is negotiable. Please ask any questions you may have.
