Kawai GE-1A 155 cm Baby Grand in Polished Ebony

Beautiful 1998 Kawai GE-1A baby grand piano in polished ebony, made in Japan. The instrument is in excellent overall condition and includes Hirotaka Kawai's signature on the cast-iron plate, a distinctive detail from this production era. Serial no. 2340630.

We are the second owners and have had the piano for about six years. It was gently used by our eldest daughter and has seen light household play; neither my spouse nor I are pianists. We are selling only because our daughter is now away at college.

Care and maintenance: the piano has been regularly tuned and professionally serviced; it was last tuned approximately one year ago. It has always been moved by professionals, never placed next to a window or HVAC vent, and has been kept in a climate-controlled home. The polished ebony cabinet remains in excellent cosmetic condition.
