1950s Steinway & Sons Hamburg Chippendale Grand Piano

For sale is an elegant Steinway & Sons grand piano, built in Hamburg in the 1950s, featuring a beautiful wooden cabinet in the distinctive Chippendale style, with its characteristic shaped legs.

A particularly charming instrument combining the renowned craftsmanship of Steinway & Sons with an elegant and distinctive period design. The wooden cabinet has a warm finish and retains the character and natural patina expected from a vintage instrument of this age.

The piano has been kept in a private home and comes with its piano bench. Its age, Hamburg manufacture and distinctive cabinet make it an attractive instrument both for pianists and for collectors or interiors where the piano itself is intended to be an important feature.

The piano is located in Rome, Italy, and is available for viewing and playing by appointment.
