History – the love of music<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The beginnings of Grotrian Steinweg date back to 1835, when Heinrich Steinweg, began producing pianos in his factory in Germany. He passed his business to his son Theodor, who moved the business to Brunswick, where the Grotrian Steinweg company still operates today. Theodor, like his father, decided to emigrate to the United States where, after changing his name to Steinway, he gave birth to one of the most prestigious brands in the world – Steinway & Sons. In Germany, Fredrich Grotrian bought out Steinweg’s shares in 1856, and rapidly developed the company’s business, creating world-famous instruments. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

To this day, pianos are still produced in Brunswick, and the resale of a part of the shares to Parsons Music Group has spread the sale of instruments also in Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What distinguishes Grotrian Steinweg piano?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Grotrian Steinweg instruments have an undeniably interesting tonal quality and an elegant, design that exudes the sophistication of the brand. The pianos have a distinctive expressive sound, which is the result of a combination of high notes, clear tones and strong bass. Their construction is also interesting. The soundboards are made of solid spruce, and each piece of wood is subject to selection for its contribution to the tone. Craftsmanship and precision are definitely noticeable in instruments from this brand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, Grotrian Steinweg launched the Wilhelm Grotrian brand. Wilhelm Grotrian<\/a> pianos are extremely durable and designed entirely by Grotrian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
