Used, Bluthner, 180

This beautiful Blüthner 180, serial nr. 109876, was built in Leipzig, 1926. The phenomenal condition of this instrument is partly because of the professional restauration in 1999 (certificates available). The light grey coating did not affect the beautiful warm tone, at full width of the 88 keys.
The Blüthner-patented action/mechanics and fully renewed hammers deliver an amazing sound: satin in pianissimo, and warm robust in forte/fortissimo. The noiseless pedal mechanics work perfectly.
Apart of some minuscule paint damage and a minimal hair crack in the soundboard the instrument is in optimal condition.
Ideal for small theaters/home concerts; romantic, chamber music, jazz (solo or trio) and vocal accompany.
After renovation and taxation in the year 2000 (report available) , this instrument remained with the same owner, only to be moved to Haarlem, april 2022. Remarkable fact: even after moving, the instrument kept its perfect A440 tuning.

The Blüthner is currently situated in "De Kapel" in Haarlem, to be tested, and visited on appointment.
