C. Bechstein Concert 8 — upright piano with a romantic tone

I am selling a C. Bechstein Concert 8 upright piano, built in Berlin. Serial number 147472, year 1953. Used but carefully maintained, with original components and the action intact.

It was recently tuned and regulated; a 440 Hz tuning was performed and the piano holds its tuning stably. The soundboard is in excellent condition and, with proper maintenance, can provide many more years of use.

The case is in perfect condition and the original keyboard offers a pleasant, responsive touch — recommended to try in order to appreciate the feel.

The tone is typically German, warm and very natural — particularly suitable for Romantic repertoire and classical music. It is regarded among the best upright pianos for sound quality.

Financing up to 60 months on the best available terms is possible.

Transport (up to €150) and the bench are included in the price.

A silent system can be installed to play with headphones.

On request, and for seriously interested buyers, I can send a demonstration video with a sound test and footage of the action.

Tuner: Mondini.
