C. Bechstein Concert Grand Piano for sale. This piano deserves to be in a concert hall or cathedral! Manufactured in 1922 in Germany, and survived WWII! Piano was completely rebuilt in 1996 and refurbished in 2017. The cabinet style is delicate ornate, and contains hand carved music stand, legs and ivory keys. This piano is truly a working relic and work of art!! Even a novice pianist can make this piano sing!

For background, Bechstein was established in 1853 by Carl Beckstein in Berlin, Germany. Carl Bechstein’s vision was the creation of an instrument of high quality with technical innovation, that was perhaps a bit ahead of its time, as initially the piano shops of Berlin were not interested. However, superb workmanship, numerous awards and the endorsement of famous pianists and composers soon made Bechstein one of the foremost piano manufacturers in Europe by the late 1800s and this vintage piano is a piece of musical history that cannot be replaced today. A piano of this quality and size would price at $150,000 and higher.
