Description.
British produced recent upright piano in high gloss white in immaculate condition outside and in. The polish has no scratches to be noticed or dents. The action has very little wear and tear as one would expect for a piano that is only 11 years old. Edelweiss is a British piano company, the only one left standing and they produce high quality premium pianos that are listed for a minimum of around £25,000 for their basic self-playing upright piano. They are based in Cambridge and now only produce pianos to order for the higher end of the piano market.
The tone is very warm thanks to the German made Abel hammer heads, but also consists of a strong resonant form and the touch is very responsive thanks to such design aspects like the raised key balance rail chases. The tone is helped by design aspects such as hammer heads are under felted, the Iron plate frame design that creates smooth transition from Bass to Middle and Middle to Treble and continuous pressure bar. Solid Spruce soundboard and five back bracings that reinforce the entire piano structure which help with the soundboard Crown and tuning stability. Nice design touches like the smooth rounded case legs and the Chrome kick plate behind the pedals. This piano also features a standard Celeste rail/practice third pedal. The stool included with this piano is adjustable and matching in finish.
