Here is a very good quality small upright piano made in 1989 in Czechoslovakia by the renowned Petrof company. This piano has been well looked after but not played very much and would be great for beginners up to advanced pianists.

Video demo available on request.

Tone and tuning

It has a very pleasant warm ‘European’ tone with a little brightness, and a good dynamic range. The tone in the bass is very full for a small upright. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440) prior to sale. This piano features agrafes (string guides) for each note in the treble which adds to the tonal depth and is usually only found on grand pianos.

Keyboard and action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action is regulated prior to sale so the piano plays smoothly across the whole keyboard.

Hammers and strings

Not much wear at all in the hammers and strings are in very good condition- see photos.

Sound board

Excellent condition, no cracks or splits

Light oak case with a natural satin finish, in very good condition. A few small marks consistent with age, only noticeable very close up. It looks great overall and would suit many styles of decor.

Dimensions - approximately 107 tall x 55 deep x 144 wide (widest point at top lid). Quite compact so will fit into fairly tight spaces.

Free ground floor delivery within 50 miles. If further, please send postcode for price - I can deliver myself or arrange delivery across the UK. Viewing / playing very welcome.
