This is a beautiful NY Steinway Model L grand piano.  The Model L measures at 5’10 1/2″, similar to the European Model O.   Although comparable in size, the model L features a wide tail.  The wide tail was created to emulate the bigger grand pianos Steinway was already producing.  The Models O and L are truly the smallest size Steinway & Sons manufactures that still produce the tone expected from a Steinway Piano.  The Steinway Model L Grand Piano is  serial number 480952.  It is Circa 1982 and is in original condition.  As expected, this piano has the classic New York Steinway sound and feel.  Well balanced tone and touch makes for a great playing experience.

Accelerated Action, diaphragmatic soundboard, hexagrip pin block and all of the other features found in the NY Steinway’s made today for the price of the Japanese made Boston piano “designed” by Steinway.
