• The Console piano is usually from 100 cm/40” up to 111 cm/44”. The hammers are placed in an upright position and directly on top of the keyboard – standard for vertical pianos. The action of the vertical piano is generally slower than the action of the grand piano. The console piano is the most common among vertical pianos.
