Refurbished Yamaha U1 upright piano for sale, height 121 cm, high-gloss black finish.
The external and internal condition is excellent: the cabinet is well preserved and the action is perfect and clean. The hammer felts are practically new, with no wear grooves, and the metal components show no oxidation thanks to storage in a dry environment. The instrument has seen very little use.
This is an original Japanese production by Nippon Gakki, Hamamatsu factory, serial number 312562, year 1964. This model is renowned for its high quality and the solidity of its materials.
The piano has not been used regularly in the last 4–5 years; a routine maintenance tuning will be necessary after the move.
The instrument has 88 keys and 3 pedals; main dimensions are height 121 cm and length 61 cm.
It is located on the ground floor in Ponteranica (province of Bergamo). For pickup there is a stair ramp, or alternatively a convenient access through a ground-level window.
Pickup and transport are at the buyer’s expense and must be carried out by a specialised company. I am available for viewings and trials on site in Ponteranica.
