This is a very unusual baby grand and we have never seen another one like it. It was built in Copenhagen in 1951 by the small maufacturer Andreas Christensen, the same maker who commissioned the remarkable PH piano (offered elsewhere on our site) in the early 1930s. Clearly they were keenly interested in design and this piano is a beautiful interpretation of the Danish Modern style executed in mahogany veneer and white enamel. The piano is in very good original condition, including flawless ivory keys. Despite its small size the tone is beautiful and well balanced, with a responsive action. A unique opportunity.
