To accommodate the widest possible range of individual requirements and budgets, Blüthner offers three different, distinctive families of instrument – the Irmer, Haessler and Blüthner. All three are designed in Leipzig, in accordance with the most stringent, time-honoured methods, principles and standards. It is a rare thing for a manufacturer to be in a position to create a new and completely separate brand identity alongside its well-established primary range, with its own distinctive voice and virtues, but Blüthner has achieved precisely that with the Haessler family of instruments. Ever since 1853, the Blüthner family has been developing and refining the identity of the instruments it creates, founded upon classical methods of construction, setting distinctive, ground-breaking new standards in sound and expression. Alongside the traditional, highly labour-intensive methods of construction, more modern manufacturing techniques have now also been introduced and developed. In tribute to Dr Rudolf Blüthner-Haessler, one of the great visionaries of the Blüthner family, we are proud to bring Haessler pianos into the world, founded upon traditional virtues, but with their own, distinctively fresh character. All of them carry the familiar hallmarks of the Blüthner family: sound construction, clarity of voice and excellent value for money. The Haessler range can be customised to suit even the most elaborate, individual taste. They can also be fitted with player piano systems, MIDI capabilities and Moontime technology.

The H132 is the jewel in crown of the Haessler range of upright pianos. It is slightly larger again than the H124, which generates yet greater warmth, depth and resonance of sound. The H132 offers all the distinctive precision of action and depth of resonance that have been naturally associated with the top-level craftsmanship of the Blüthner factory since the 1850s. This instrument is perfectly capable of showcasing the skills of the most experienced pianist, at a remarkably reasonable price.
