The "Made in Germany" certification guarantees that each Schimmel grand piano has been manufactured in Germany. Schimmel proudly carries this certificate of authenticity, being one of the few piano manufacturers in Germany to receive it.

The history of the Schimmel brand dates back to 1885 when the first workshop was founded in Leipzig. In 1927, the company passed into the hands of the founder’s son, Wilhelm Arno Schimmel, who relocated the production to Braunschweig, where the production of these exceptional instruments continues to this day.
