Condition & work carried out (general overhaul 2025):
The instrument was completely overhauled in 2025. The work carried out includes new strings, new tuning pins, a new pinblock, renewed double bridges, new hammer heads and fresh felting on the cast-iron plate. The action was then regulated and offers a very precise, responsive touch.

After the general overhaul the grand piano is again in a condition that makes it usable for the coming decades. Sonically it convinces with the warm and full tone typical of Blüthner.
