This C. Bechstein Model IV (IV 218) semi-concert grand piano from 1896 has been thoroughly overhauled and presents itself in an almost like-new condition.
The piano measures 220 cm and features a glossy polyester black finish; it has 88 keys and three pedals.
During the restoration, the hammer heads, strings and tuning pins were renewed to ensure long-term playability and stability.
Sonically, the instrument impresses with a warm, powerful and balanced resonance that unfolds excellently both in concert use and in private collections.
The overhaul, professional tuning and the final voicing were carried out by our experienced concert technician in Vienna at an international standard.
