Usado, Steinway & Sons, B-211

Authentically restored Steinway & Sons B‑211 (211 cm), built in 1983 in the Hamburg production. This grand piano impresses with a wide sonic spectrum: the tone sustains for a long time, the instrument offers great dynamic potential and can sound both delicately intimate and powerfully expressive.

The instrument comes from private ownership and was professionally refurbished in our master workshop. The polyester finish is largely original; the legs have been repainted and the case carefully polished. The brass casters were replaced with original new parts. The keyboard, previously covered with natural material, was fitted at the Steinway keyboard factory with a high-quality THARAN ceramic coating; the black keys are ebony.

Action, soundboard and bridges are in very good original condition. To improve touch and tone, hammerheads, shanks and rollers were renewed. The cast iron plate, strings, tuning pins and felts were also refurbished or newly replaced; the cast plate was repainted and relabeled.
