Technical and visual condition: The case presents a well‑kept overall condition; the polish shows a slight greyish haze consistent with its age. Two small chips on the front edge of the lid have been professionally retouched with blacking and are visually hardly noticeable. The keyboard is equipped with high‑quality Ivoplast plastic coverings and is in immaculate condition; the keyboard fittings are also well preserved.

In the action, the levers and hammer heads show signs of use, yet all parts operate technically without fault. The felt substance of the hammer heads is sufficiently thick, so a professional re‑surfacing of the hammers is possible. The damper action works very precisely. Notable is the built‑in modern tone‑sustaining system, which operates without issues. Sonically, the instrument convinces with a voluminous bass; in the treble it currently sounds somewhat bright to occasionally shrill.

Recommended maintenance measures: To restore optimal touch and tonal balance, a comprehensive overhaul is recommended. This includes a thorough cleaning of the instrument, aligning the action parts, tightening the action screws and precisely leveling the keyboard. Furthermore, the action, damping and pedal work should be newly regulated and various technical tasks carried out. Acoustically, this foresees re‑surfacing the hammer heads, targeted re‑intonation to homogenize the tone and a final tuning.
