Descripción
Here is the latest instrument we have just restored. It is a STEINWAY & SONS Model M (1m70) made in New York in 1928. We have completely replaced the action (necks, heads and olives; as well as the bridges and of course the dampers) by a Renner designed and made to the model of the time. The keyboard, in beautiful ivory, has been bleached and polished, the mortises and the back of the keyboard have been refelted. The windchest, the pegs and the steel and wired strings have also been replaced, the bridge soles redone in maple, the soundboard retensioned and varnished. The frame has been gilded and the cabinet relacquered. The sound is homogeneous, colorful, clear and airy, the bass is powerful and deep, the midrange rich and defined, the treble has the typical pearl of the brand. The touch offers the precision and the regularity of a new instrument. The whole is a pure marvel of velocity, lightness and expressionism typical of the American manufacture of this period. The warranty is 10 years. EXCEPTIONAL
