Steinway & Sons M‑170 in white high gloss – fully overhauled 2024

Condition: used, complete general overhaul 2024
Instrument details:
The grand piano has been comprehensively overhauled: new premium-quality strings and tuning pins as well as original Steinway hammer heads and new hammer shanks. Action rollers and dampers have also been completely renewed — all common wear parts have been replaced.
Finish and touch:
The finish has been redone in high-quality white high gloss. The touch is very pleasant; the instrument offers balanced, characteristically Steinway tonal qualities. The voicing is set to “medium,” which showcases a wide repertoire from romantic literature to jazz.
Equipment:
88 keys with new plastic keytops (as on new instruments)
3 pedals (middle pedal = sostenuto / individual note sustaining pedal)
Delivery and sales conditions:
Delivery within Germany, including floor-to-floor service, is included in the price (provided there are no special difficulties such as a crane being required and sufficient space is available). A surcharge of EUR 100.00 applies for Austria and the Benelux countries.
Tax information:
VAT included, not separately itemized (margin scheme).
Warranty (5 years):
Warranty provider: Pianelli Music Store (Pianelli GmbH).
The warranty covers the faultless functional condition of the instrument. Damage caused by improper handling or insufficient maintenance is excluded. The warranty covers free replacement of materials and labor for covered defects; further costs are not covered. Tunings and other service operations are excluded from the warranty.
The warranty is valid for five years from handover and is geographically limited to Germany and the rest of the European mainland.
Conditions for warranty coverage:
The instrument is sensitive to climatic fluctuations. The recommended relative humidity in the room where the instrument is placed is between 40% and 60%. Direct heat from radiators or direct sunlight should be avoided. We provide advice on humidification or dehumidification solutions if required.
