Usado, Steinway & Sons, O-180

Steinway & Sons model O (180 cm), serial number 139888, built in Hamburg in 1910.

An official Steinway & Sons letter dated 19 July 2016 confirms the production details and states that the instrument was shipped on 17 March 1910 to the dealer Leon Delgany in Brussels. The certificate is visible in the last photograph of the listing.

The piano is in excellent original condition and has always been carefully maintained. After purchase in Belgium it was placed in a private residence in Italy.

Condition of the instrument:

Soundboard in very good structural condition.
Original hammers, not significantly worn hollow.
Action professionally regulated.
Targeted replacement of some tuning pins when necessary.
Partial replacement of the keyboard balance felts.
Regularly tuned.
Rosewood case in excellent cosmetic condition.

This is not a fully restored instrument, but a very well preserved original example that has received professional maintenance over time.

The piano retains the warm, singing and transparent tone typical of early 20th-century Steinway Hamburg instruments. The O model (180 cm) is valued for its balanced proportions and wide dynamic range, ideal for high-level private use or a recording studio.
