Condition & work carried out:
The instrument has been comprehensively overhauled. It is fitted with new strings and new tuning pins of the highest quality. All typical wear parts have been replaced: original Steinway hammer heads, new hammer shanks, new rollers, new levers and new dampers.

Touch & sound:
The touch is very pleasant, the sound balanced and typical of Steinway. The intonation has been set to a medium setting ("medium"), so that both romantic repertoire and jazz can be interpreted very well. High-quality materials and careful workmanship were used for all work, ensuring the instrument is ready for many years of use.

88 keys with new plastic coverings (as on new instruments)
3 pedals (middle pedal = sostenuto / single-note sustaining pedal)

The instrument is equally suitable for demanding amateur pianists and professional users who want a powerful, nuanced Steinway sound at home or on smaller stages.

Price includes delivery within Germany, including to floors (provided there are no special difficulties such as a crane being required and there is sufficient space).

Warranty (5 years):
A 5-year warranty applies to the faultless functioning of the purchased item, calculated from handover. The warranty covers free replacement of materials and labor; further costs are not covered by the seller. Tunings and service work are not part of the warranty services. Damage caused by improper handling or inadequate maintenance is excluded. The territorial scope of the warranty coverage is limited to Germany and the rest of continental Europe.

Conditions for granting the warranty:
The instrument is sensitive to climatic fluctuations. The relative humidity in the room where it is placed should be between 40% and 60%. Direct heat from radiators or direct sunlight should be avoided. Likewise, there should not be an exterior door or a window immediately adjacent to the instrument. If required, we provide advice on humidification or dehumidification solutions.
