Usado, Steinway & Sons, O-180

For sale: a fully refurbished Steinway & Sons grand piano, model O (length 180 cm) in burl wood. Year of manufacture 1920, serial number 200431. Dimensions: length 180 cm, width 148.5 cm, weight approx. 270 kg.

Equipment and condition:
- 88 keys with new plastic coverings (no ivory)
- 3 pedals (middle pedal = sostenuto / sostenuto pedal)
- Double-escapement action

Refurbishment and service:
The grand piano was carefully overhauled by hand (2026). All wear parts were replaced: new strings and high-quality tuning pins, new hammer heads and hammer shanks, new rollers and new action levers. The finish is completely new and executed in premium quality. The voicing/intonation is set to a medium tonal character ("medium"), making the instrument excellent for both romantic repertoire and jazz. High-quality materials were used for all work, so the piano will be ready for use for many decades.

Bench and accessories:
Included is a professional piano bench specially made for this instrument. Seat approx. 35 x 55 cm, height-adjustable from approx. 45 to 53 cm, cover in textured faux leather, legs in burl wood.

Trials and location:
Viewings and trials are welcome in our shop in central Jena. Opening hours: Mon–Fri 09:00–19:00, Sat 10:00–18:00 and by appointment.

Payment, delivery and sale:
Payment can be made without advance directly upon delivery to the shipping company. On request we will gladly prepare a financing offer. The sale is carried out directly by the master piano maker; the instrument carries his recommendation. Delivery within Germany is included in the price — including flights of stairs (unless there are special difficulties such as a crane, etc.). An additional fee may apply for Austria and the Benelux countries. VAT is included but not itemized (margin scheme). The matching height-adjustable bench is included.

Warranty:
Includes 5 years warranty according to the warranty conditions. Warranty issuer: the provider. This warranty relates to the functionality of the instrument; damages caused by improper handling or inadequate maintenance are excluded. Tunings and service work are not part of the warranty services.
