A design conceived to establish a direct relationship between performer and instrument: the CX series is distinguished by a clean, linear aesthetic, with simple legs and no superfluous decorations. The pedal housing has been reinforced to ensure stability even during more pronounced dynamic excursions, allowing the pianist to operate the pedal with confidence and control.

The rear structure has been thickened compared to previous models, providing a firmer support that promotes fuller resonance and better transmission of sonic energy. The soundboard has also been redesigned: the gluing and assembly techniques follow the criteria used for the CFX models, developed to maximize projection and responsiveness.

The steel strings used in the series provide articulated sustain and a rich harmonic complexity, especially in the middle and high registers. The hammers are fitted with felts derived from the CFX series and are calibrated to the instrument’s dimensions to achieve an expressive and nuanced tone. The white keys are made of Ivorite®, with a feel and color close to natural ivory, while the black keys use genuine ebony.
