The design of the CX series aims to merge the instrument with the performer, reinterpreting the stylistic features of the CF series in a modern way. The lines are simple and elegant, with particular attention to the legs and the understated surfaces, removing superfluous ornamentation for a clean, functional look.

The instrument features a robust pedal housing, designed to ensure stability even during the most intense performances: this solution allows the musician to use the pedal with full incisiveness without losing control, in line with the philosophy of “functional design”.

The white keys are made of Ivorite®, a material that reproduces the feel, color and glide very similar to natural ivory; the black keys are natural ebony, offering a superior tactile and visual response.

The CX series adopts a thicker rear frame to provide greater structural support and broader resonance. This element, fundamental for transforming the energy of the notes into reverberation, has been redesigned to reduce mechanical losses during very intense passages and to increase projection.

The new soundboard benefits from the same gluing techniques used in the CFX models and from an assembly process designed to improve synchronization between soundboard, ribs and bridge. The result is better projection and a more immediate dynamic response.

The series also uses a renewed harmonic steel that enhances sustain and timbral richness, with particular complexity in the mid and high registers. The hammers are based on those of the CFX series: they are assembled with high-quality felts adapted to the dimensions of each instrument to offer an expressive and nuanced tonal palette.
