Usado, Dörner

The piano was produced in 1885 for a special edition in London and is very well preserved. A comprehensive full restoration was carried out in 2007 by a professional piano builder. Tuning pitch: 462 Hz. Action: double extension achieved by a grand extension. The bass strings are made of copper, making them slimmer and more powerful. The mounting/bracing is made of brass, resulting in less inherent resonance than steel. Keys: white – ivory; black – natural ebony (very rare). Pedals made of brass. Overall, very high-quality materials were used inside; on the outside the lacquer has small cosmetic imperfections which, in my opinion, suit the overall character (gives a more authentic appearance). It has been regularly serviced (2009, 2010, 2021 – invoices available) and tuned.
