This Grotrian Steinweg model 125 is a characterful piano from the long-established German pianoforte-making tradition. It stands out for an even, responsive touch and a warm, dark, full tonal character.
The instrument has been comprehensively overhauled mechanically: key coverings, dampers and worn parts such as axles have been renewed, and the action has been re-regulated. The soundboard, pin block and bridges show no cracks; the piano can be tuned very well to concert pitch A.
Equipment: a quiet-play function (Moderator) is present. This instrument can, on request, be fitted with a Silencer.
