Upright piano Grotrian Steinweg 102 M in high-gloss black finish, built in Braunschweig (Germany), serial number 104184.

The cabinet was recently repainted in Italy; the action was inspected, tuned and regulated according to factory specifications.

The instrument is fitted with a Renner action and high-quality German components: Diamant tuning pins, Roslau steel strings and soundboards made from woods sourced from the Black Forest. The Renner hammer assembly, with denser felt in the bass, provides a warmer and more enveloping tone.

The piano features the well-known rear star system for increased stability and a cast-iron frame connected only to the rear frame, a solution that encourages free vibration of the internal structure and contributes to the brand's distinctive tonal character.

A rare instrument to find in such well-maintained sonic and mechanical condition: sweet European tone, exciting dynamics and well-present bass despite the dimensions (100 cm height, 88 keys, 2 pedals).
