This W. Hoffmann Tradition T 122 is constructed with carefully selected materials that together provide a balanced tone and a reliable playing character. The core components are: a medium‑hard pine framework, a soundboard and braces of European hard spruce, and a beechwood bridge with a tuning block made of beech plywood. The frame is sand‑blasted cast iron; the strings are steel with a winding of 99% pure copper of German quality. The case combines solid beech parts with MDF panels. The action and keybed meet the C. Bechstein standard, and the hammerheads are covered with specially selected sheep felt.
