Original German manufacture with Ivolan key coverings and ebony upper keys. The instrument features a third pedal (sostenuto) and is fitted as standard with a classical action. The long chamber-music damping already provides precise, delicate tonal colours in the basic setting – on request it is also available for the two-string choir.

The 138 K model is regarded as a concert piano: its soundboard area corresponds sonically to that of a 180 cm salon grand and gives the instrument great projection and warmth. Its excellent tonal qualities have already made it the preferred alternative in small halls, conservatories and churches when a top-level piano is required.

Available versions include the standard 138 K and the 138 K‑SFM (Steingraeber‑Ferro‑Magnet action). Optional items include, among others, the third pedal (sostenuto) and the extended chamber-music damping. The soundboard is made from carefully selected spruce; the action parts are also manufactured to a high standard.

This piano is aimed at discerning amateurs, music lovers, teachers and concert pianists looking for a compact instrument with concert-level sound quality.
