The Yamaha B2E SC2 is an affordable acoustic piano model from Yamaha's extensive range, equipped with the SILENT Piano™ system. The piano is made from the same high quality materials, has exactly the same specifications and acoustic sound as the standard B2E model. SILENT Piano™ SC2 technology
When the SILENT function is activated, the hammers stop hitting the strings and the acoustic piano starts behaving like a high-end digital instrument, using the included sound module and advanced sensors to record key movements. This allows you to play in headphones and not disturb anyone, as the piano strings will not vibrate. You can also connect to an external sound system or recording equipment.
The sound module is placed outside the cabinet without affecting its natural resonance. It is discreet and well thought-out to ensure comfortable and intuitive operation.
