This Yamaha U1 model was built from 1959 to 1965. These somewhat older models generally have a softer, warm sound compared to the newer examples.
The Yamaha U1D originally has only two pedals; however, in our restorations the 3rd (moderator) pedal is added to all instruments. Recognisable by the rounded shapes on the top lid.
Our refurbished Yamaha pianos & grand pianos are like new instruments again. Both the interior and exterior have been overhauled.
The casework has been sprayed with polyester high-gloss lacquer, the key coverings have been replaced, the soundboard has received a new lacquer, and even the interior is in like-new condition. For these reasons we again provide a 10-year warranty on these instruments.
