The Yamaha U1M is a U1-series piano from the early 1980s, known for a slightly softer and warmer tone than many other U1 variants.

This Yamaha has been professionally refurbished: both the internal workings and the cabinet have been fully overhauled. The cabinet has been repainted with polyester high-gloss; the key coverings have been replaced and the soundboard has been re-lacquered. The action and internal components have been returned to like-new condition. Strings and hammer heads have been repaired or replaced where necessary; all felts and the verkerningen have been renewed. Brass parts have been polished and look like new again. The piano is equipped with a practice pedal and a slow-fall on the fallboard.

Due to the thorough overhaul, we offer a 5-year warranty on this instrument.

We offer various Yamaha silent solutions. Sometimes we find Yamaha silent systems originally installed at the factory; generally, however, we install a universal silent system so that you can freely choose from our full range and we install the system in the instrument you select.
