This Yamaha P116 Silent in white high-gloss combines elegant design with practical features. The case, including the soundboard and bracing made of spruce, was built to European construction standards, which produces a balanced, voluminous sound despite the compact dimensions. The P series stands for mid-range instruments with characteristics that recall higher-end models: finely regulated action, sensitive response and solid sound reproduction.

The built-in digital system is based on the SG sampling from the CFIIIS concert grand and delivers a natural, centrally stereo resonance. The tonal variety includes 10 voices — including harpsichord, pipe organ and strings — as well as practical recording and playback functions. MIDI data can be imported via USB from external storage media; additionally, 50 well-known demo pieces are stored in the internal memory.
