This Yamaha U3 is finished in a high-gloss black cabinet and represents the larger, professional upright in Yamaha’s U series. At 131 cm tall it delivers extended string length and projection, often regarded as the closest upright alternative to a small grand.

The instrument is in very good overall condition and has been through refurbishment work. It has been carefully prepared both mechanically and musically to ensure reliable performance and consistent touch.

Sonically the piano offers a warm, mature character with a particularly strong and resonant bass that gives the instrument a full, rich sound across the registers. The action is responsive, making the piano suitable for a wide variety of repertoire and for use in teaching or professional settings.

The cabinet includes three pedals, with a practice (mute) pedal for quieter practice when required. The piano was built in Japan and has been serviced as part of the refurbishment.
