This Yamaha U3A has been professionally refurbished and is again in an almost like-new condition. Both the interior and the cabinet have been thoroughly restored: the case received a high-gloss polyester finish, the key coverings have been replaced and the soundboard has been re-varnished, so that both appearance and tone benefit from the overhaul.

The strings and hammer heads have been repaired or, where necessary, replaced. As standard, all felt parts and the notches in the action were renewed. All brass parts have been carefully polished. The instrument is fitted with a practice pedal (middle pedal) and a slow-fall on the fallboard.
