This magnificent instrument can lay claim to being one of the finest concert pianos available in the world today. When the owners of the venerable Yoshi's in Oakland CA planned the opening of their world class jazz club in San Francisco in 2007 they traveled to Europe to find the best piano money could buy - a new Hamburg-built Steinway concert model D. This wonderful piano was played by the world's top jazz musicians and was carefully maintained and treated with the utmost of care until financial difficulties shuttered the club last year. When the piano arrived at our shop our careful inspection revealed it to be in excellent condition and showing fairly minimal wear consistent with its use solely as a performance instrument. There is some minor damage to the polished ebony case as expected from its life on the stage, but we can make the appropriate repairs or offer a discount should a buyer wish to take the case "as is". Internally the piano is in extremely fine condition having just been regulated, tuned and voiced by our techncians. It is now ready for use in the highest level of performance venue.
