Steinway & Sons Model M (170 cm / 5'7") from 1959 — a fully operable medium grand that retains original Steinway-made components.
This piano comes from an estate in Freeport, Long Island, NY. The soundboard is intact with no visible cracks, and musicians who have played it report a pleasing, well-balanced tone.
Strings, soundboard, bridges and hammers are original Steinway parts and are in good condition. The action uses non‑Teflon bushings, preserving a responsive touch.
The case is finished in mahogany with a transparent lacquer that highlights the wood grain. Dimensions: 5 ft 7 in × 4 ft 9.75 in (67" × 57.75" / 170 × 146 cm). 88 keys, 3 pedals.
