This Viscount New presents the presence of a baby grand with the flexibility of an ensemble digital instrument. Housed in a hand-polished, all-wood cabinet finished in high-gloss black, the 127 cm body features brass-plated pedals and knobs, a one-piece brass hinge, and split brass caster wheels. The lid lifts on dual props and the keyboard is protected by a roll-top cover; a matching bench is included. Sound and performance are driven by an 88-key Grand Response hammer-action keyboard, over 500 professional voices (including the XG sound set), 144 built-in rhythm styles and 64-note polyphony. Programmable effects and a 3.5" disk drive provide additional creative and storage options. Overall, the instrument blends traditional grand aesthetics with digital versatility in a polished, compact package.
