Weinbach 192 is a mid-range concert grand designed for concert halls, conservatories, music schools and demanding pianists.
Its voice is refined and cultured, typical for instruments intended for professional performance. The piano provides a tonal range of 7 1/3 octaves; when the soft pedal is used it affects notes 1–69.
Key drop (key dip) measures 10 mm and the touch weight is 51 g ± 2 g. The instrument is set to standard tuning at 440 Hz. The factory specification includes three pedals, including the sustain pedal.
Construction and voicing details: solid spruce soundboard (2,238 sq. in), 12 solid spruce pre-crowned ribs, a 7-ply European Beech pinblock, choice of Petrof or Renner action, Abel hammers and a #1 bass string length of 55.5".
