Steinway & Sons B-211 is firsthand.
The grand piano was in a private house and was regularly maintained and tuned
I had the grand piano completely overhauled by the master piano maker who had looked after the grand piano since the beginning.
Now the grand piano is almost as new
The following work was done:
Installation of new hammer heads and stems
Complete regulation of the keyboard, mechanics and damping
Mood and intonation of the grand piano
