BALAS 1 was our last piano built... the "organ donor" was an old Ehrbar piano that came to us completely devastated and beyond the economic repair option... we removed the iron frame, including the action frame, and spent hundreds of hours completely rebuilding the piano. The case is made of solid birch and solid walnut, a Renner action with new Renner original parts, a new keyboard.....The sound is impressive...broad and voluminous with a sonorous bass and a bright, brilliant treble...Apart from the iron frame, only natural raw materials of the finest quality were used
