This exceptional C. Bechstein Model 8 in burlwood is in excellent condition. The soundboard and acoustic construction are still in top condition and contribute to a full, rich tone.

The original burl veneer (burlwood) is remarkably well preserved and gives the instrument a warm, elegant appearance that is relatively rare for this model.

The piano has been thoroughly restored so that it can last for generations:
- New Abel hammer heads
- Renewed keyboard inlay and key coverings
- New damper felt and damper leather
- Keyboard restoration with very high-quality ivory keys

Technical facts: C. Bechstein Model 8 (1918), height approx. 132 cm, 88 keys, 2 pedals, serial no. 113464. This is a used acoustic piano with fully restored mechanism and keywork.

Model 8 was and remains Bechstein’s top model; this example offers the tonal character of a reference instrument without the price of a new instrument.
