This Kawai BS‑2A has been fully refurbished and is back in an almost new condition. Both the inside and the outside have been professionally restored: the cabinet has been finished with a high-gloss polyester lacquer, the key coverings have been replaced and the soundboard received a new coat of lacquer. The interior of the instrument has also been thoroughly restored; for this reason a 10-year warranty is given on this example.
The strings and hammer heads have been repaired or—where necessary—replaced. As standard, all felt parts and wear components in the action are renewed. All brass parts have been polished and look like new again. The instrument is equipped with a practice pedal and a slow-fall on the fallboard.
