The piano was carefully and thoroughly refurbished in our specialist workshop. This included overhauling the acoustic system with replacement of the tuning pin block. The soundboard was planed and the cast-iron plate was repainted.

The piano received new strings in the bass and treble as well as new tuning pins. The hammer heads and damper felts were also replaced. The action was comprehensively regulated.

To achieve a pleasant and even playing feel, the front key coverings were replaced and the keys were polished. The case was carefully sanded and the surface subsequently waxed. The backboard was newly painted black and covered with a cloth. All brass parts were also polished.

Key covering: ivory. The certificate authorizing trade, issued by the competent regional government authority, is available.
