Gebruikte, Bosendorfer, 290 Imperial

For sale: a Bösendorfer 290 Imperial (290 cm) from 1973 with a certified ivory keyboard. The instrument is presented in black with 97 keys and three pedals; serial number: 30210.

The grand was recently re-voiced by one of Vienna’s renowned concert technicians and impresses with an especially warm, resonant and well-defined tone. A condition and sound assessment issued by Bösendorfer in December 2023 documents the technical and tonal state; we will gladly forward this report to seriously interested parties.

The instrument was previously owned by the label Preiser Records and was used frequently in the recording rooms of the Casino Baumgarten, including during recordings with Friedrich Gulda. Listening examples of recent recordings (including works by Brahms and Rachmaninoff) are available on YouTube on the “clavierhaus” channel.

A viewing and a trial play are possible by appointment in our recording studio. On request we will professionally record your visit and provide the recordings free of charge.
