Finish and equipment:
The lacquer has been renewed; the surface presents itself without damage in a brilliant black. The music desk is finely crafted, the legs decoratively ornamented. Photos only partially reproduce the appearance.

Technical condition:
The instrument has been comprehensively overhauled: all wear parts have been replaced – new strings, new tuning pins, new felts, new hammer heads as well as all felt and leather elements of the action. Action levers, hammer shanks with rollers and hammer heads are also new. As a result, the action is very quiet, clean and plays like that of an almost new instrument. Materials from German premium manufacturers were used.

Sound character:
Due to its size, this Bechstein achieves a full, warm sound typical of Bechstein and without a metallic character. The voicing of the hammer heads is rather soft-romantic, which makes the instrument particularly suitable for chamber music and the romantic and classical repertoire. On request we can voice the hammers differently for jazz, rock or boogie.

Application:
Both for discerning listeners in the living room and for pianists on small stages, this grand offers a pleasant playing feel and sonic enjoyment.

Condition:
Visually and technically the grand has been carefully restored and is once again ready for many more decades of use.

Viewing and trial:
A trial is possible in our showroom in Jena. On over 700 m² of sales space there are numerous new and used pianos and grands from well-known manufacturers available to try.

Price includes delivery within Germany, including transport to upper floors (excluding special difficulties such as crane or similar, provided sufficient space).
For Austria and the Benelux countries there is an additional charge of EUR 100.00.
