This August Förster model 275 (275 cm) was built at the Löbau manufactory and completely rebuilt in an elaborate, multi-stage process./n/nThe original action was entirely replaced with Renner action parts; the mechanical setup now follows Renner geometry, resulting in an even, smooth touch. The keyboard has been rebuilt and is fitted with Tharan coverings (standard at Fazioli) and ebony key tops./n/nThe acoustic system received a comprehensive overhaul: the cast plate and soundboard were refinished, and new strings, tuning pins and felts have been installed. The soundboard, bridges and pinblock remain original and free of cracks, but have been sonically optimized.
